UPSC Full Form: UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). It is India’s one of the leading central government agencies that conduct various top-level exams to recruit candidates into different services of the All India Services, Central Services, and Cadres, as well as the Armed Forces of the Union of India. It was established in the year 1926 on the 1st of October. The headquarters of the commission is located at Dholpur House in New Delhi. Pradeep Kumar Joshi is the chairman of UPSC. UPSC Full Form.

SERVICES Functions
IAS – Indian Administrative Services IAS officers serve the Government of India. The officers are responsible for ensuring that the laws are being framed and lead to progress in society.
IPS – Indian Police Services IPS officers are trained at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA). Further, they are appointed at RAW, IB, CBI, etc.
ICAS – Indian Civil Account Services ICAS officers are trained in the National Institute of financial management, Faridabad. And they work under the Ministry of Finance.
ICLS – Indian Corporate Law Services ICLS officers govern the corporate sector of India. And they work under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs
IDAS – Indian Defense Account Services IDAS officers are trained at CENTERED and then NIFM. And they work under the Ministry of Defense.
IDES – Indian Defense Estates Services IDES officers manage the cantonment and lands of the defence establishment. They get their preparation/training at the National Institute of Defence estate in New Delhi. The officers work at the Defence Estates Organization (DEO) 
IAAS – Indian Audit and Account Services  IAAS officers are trained at the National Academy of Audit and Accounts in Shimla. Further, they get posted as Deputy Accountant General (DAG)/Deputy Director (DD) at field offices. It is a central government service, under the Comptroller and Auditor General of India.
